This is not a very good product. First off.... the trimmer does not achieve a full charge. Secondly the user instructions are completely inadequate. There is nothing to them and they do not explain how to fully use this product and its attachments. The attachments do no sit well on the razor and slide on their own, back and forth, this makes for some scary trimming. I am dissatisfied with this purchase and if this product represents this company, I will not be buying a Remington product in the future. This was poorly done. The first day I got this trimmer I opened it, plugged it in to charge, and "tried" to read through the directions. As others have mentioned the instructions tell you nothing you need to know and might as well be tossed in the trash. While it was charging I decided to test it out. I set it to a high setting to try and gauge what length I would need to use and as soon as I pressed it to my chin, the plastic guide bent so far as to put the blades right to my chin and shave the hairs down to nothing. I immediately plugged in my old trimmer, trimmed it all down evenly and sent this POS back the next day. I advise anyone looking for a good trimmer to avoid this one like the plague. Well at 62 years of age this weekend, this was the PERFECT gift! To begin, I opened the box and was happy to see it can be charged by plugging it into a house wall socket, NOT just some USB port. And me being the impulsive type decided to not even read instructions. Played with it till I saw how one of the included 2 "adjustable combs" went on and off to the bathroom I went! Now I started out just fine. I adjusted to a length that looked "safe" to me and went at it in the mirror. I just went to about 1/4 inch all around. Looked in the mirror and looked pretty good. Now I changed the setting to the 2nd closest setting (for short) and went again. HERE is where I got into trouble. It looked FINE from the front. But I might suggest you have someone HELP you when you get to the back....Yeah, you guessed it. Front & sides are OK. But on the back? Well not the clippers fault but I must have held the clippers a little "off" since it kind of looks like my cats chewed on the back of my head...
