This is by far the best sweater shaver I have ever owned. It makes all my old sweaters look brand new again. I have saved hundred of dollars on purchasing new sweaters by using the shaver and recycling my old sweaters. It is a definite have for any closet. I have a small really cheap one that works fine. It sometimes snags up but it works fine. I also have one about as large as the Izumi, but it uses C or maybe even D batteries and weighs about 4 times as much as the Izumi. It also works fine.BUT, the Izumi does the job at least 4 times faster and its construction is way more sturdy than either of these cheaper ones. If you want a serious sweater shaver, this is it. It's pricy, but works really great. Many of the sweaters that I was going to have to throw out look almost brand new. The shaver was a bit pricey in my opinion, but once I saw how many sweaters I saved I felt it was SO worth it! |
