It doesn't matter if it is cold and rainy - a snow cone trumps all.We've tried many different syrups, and what you need to understand is that they may all look the same, but some taste very diluted whereas others are very intense, like the ones advertised here. Also be sure to read the directions when you buy syrups from the stores - some of them need to be mixed with water but usually not for use with snow ones. This starter kit is just great, because it gives you everything you'd need to go with along your snow cone. The bottle pourers are just great, and you really do need them. Just put them on the bottles, throw out the original tops, and leave the bottles on the counter. No drips, no need to seal the top. (We have ours on the counter next to several candy jars and dishes - my son says we look like the house from Hansel and Gretel.) Highly recommended...
